Covid-19 (coronavirus) update 3rd November 2020

In line with advice from the CSP we will continue to run physiotherapy services during the national lockdown, unless the government explicitly instructs us to stop treating patients.

·        Initial contact will be by telephone and you will be questioned as to the nature of your problem. It may be that all you require is advice and exercise suggestions.

·        Should a face-to-face consultation be deemed clinically necessary following telephone triage, then you will be offered an appointment.

·        Appointments will be staggered to limit the number of patients visiting the practice.

·        Time will be allowed between appointments to enable all potential contact areas to be disinfected. Hand santiser will be available for you to use, and the use of a face mask is encouraged

If you have any questions please leave a message on our answerphone or email and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

The Injury Treatment Centre was established in 1991 in central Worthing to provide a high-quality physiotherapy service, specialising in sports injuries, back and neck pain, and joint or muscle problems, whether they are caused by sport or leisure activities, work place issues or accidents (including Road Traffic Accidents).

We are able to carry out workstation assessments in office or factory settings with reports and recommendations, and work closely with local solicitors to resolve the physical aspects of injury claims.

We also provide a number of outreach services. In particular we provide services to individuals within residential and nursing homes or in their own home – our aim is to maximise their independence.

The practice is owned by partners Mark and Christine Potter, both of whom are experienced physiotherapists, and are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, Registered with the Health & Care Professions Council and members of Physio First (Organisation of Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice).
